The Waikiki
Banyan is a fun resort one block from the warm sands and blue water of
the world's most famous beach. Soak up the sun, stroll on ocean board
walk, swim in warm ocean, snorkel across from the Zoo in fish preserve
(some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii), surf, or just relax on the
Banyan's comfortable lounge chairs on recreation deck near pool or in
shade. You can swim in protected sea wall area one block away, which is
like a warm salt water pool and relatively shallow.
The huge
recreation deck on the sixth floor offers a large freshwater pool, jet
spa, free tennis, sauna, gas barbecues, children's playground and take
out/snack bar. Here you can meet vacationers from around the world.
The
Waikiki Banyan is unique in that it offers large units with kitchens in
upscale Waikiki in a resort environment at affordable prices. No other
complex offers such a large amenity package at such reasonable rates in
such a desirable location, one block from the beach, bus line,
restaurants, and two blocks to a gorgeous park and zoo. Making it
unique, our unit has the best ocean views at the Waikiki Banyan, for
which hotels would charge a small fortune per night. What's a vacation
in Hawaii without a panoramic ocean view, watching surfers from your
living room, and spectacular sunsets!
Restaurants galore
in the immediate neighborhood, from fast food, sushi, all you can eat,
to exotic international and island cuisine, to top gourmet restaurants
such as Roy's or New York's Nobu on Lewers Street. The Waikiki
Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo, extensive shopping (affordable to high end,
Coach, Bally), and championship golf are all nearby.
Bus stop
one block away. Ala Muana shopping center is 10 minutes away by bus.
You don't need to rent a car. Take Robert's shuttle from airport to
Banyan ($15 round trip). Mini mart & snack bar in building. Walk to
food pantry supermarket at 2370 Kuhio Avenue. Walk to Parkshore
Starbucks across from beach. Longer walk to new Safeway at 888 Kapahulu
Avenue.
